What is FEAR really?

LEARNING BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY

What is FEAR really?

What is FEAR really?

I have heard it said that FEAR is

  • False
  • Evidence
  • Appearing
  • Real

I have always resisted the idea that my fears were false or conning me in some way most of the time. Something must be real about my fears, right?

Small Adjustment on FEAR

Therefore, I propose FEAR as the following with a very small adjustment to the original popular definition.

FEAR is

  • Failure's
  • Evidence
  • Appearing
  • Real

In short, FEAR is a two-component alert system designed to protect us from repeating failures and danger.

More specifically, FEAR is a

  • Failure to learn
  • Failure to prepare
  • Failure to act
  • Failure to realize danger
  • Failure to know
  • Failure to research
  • Failure to seek truth
  • Failure to care
  • Failure to focus
  • Failure to adapt
  • Failure to see
  • Failure to forgive
  • Failure to learn from past
  • Failure to decide
  • Failure to commit
  • Failure to listen
  • Failure to grind
  • Failure to love
  • Failure to be diligent
  • Failure to speak up or out
  • Failure to respect elders
  • Failure to heed wisdom
  • Failure to surrender
  • Failure to understand
  • Failure to believe
  • Failure to have faith in others
  • Failure to respect survival instincts
  • Failure to lead
  • Failure to follow
  • Failure to study
  • Failure to be served
  • Failure to respect needs

….all these failures and more result in different levels of FEAR in different situations no matter if people think this way or not.

Tell me what you think?
